Greetings from ND.

I noticed in the Libby results in the last Herald the mention of RJUKAN a
gelding(?) driven by Larry Boe in several harness events. Does anyone know
anything about the horse, does it belong to the Boe's, what are the
bloodlines etc.

Reason for asking is that I grew up in Rjukan, Norway a little mountain town
in Telemark, and I have named my two young geldings with area names form
there. Just curious to find out more and why the name Rjukan??

We really enjoy the new info. sharing on barn ideas as we are in process of
either buliding this summer or moving an old round roofed barn to our place
and restoring it. You can move ANYTHING in N. Dakota as it must be the
flattest spot on earth, - good for farming but not good to the eyes of a
home grown Norwegian. Uffda, where are the mountains and fjords(the wet,
blue ones) :)
