Cheryl, just one point.  My ferrier tells me that the fjord has the typical
draft horse foot.  What that is I can not explain.  My Howdie had hooves
that looked like they were on the wrong feet, left to right, front ones
only.  He felt it had to do with their many years as draft horses.  I do
have the "wild horse" trim in front, toes squared off, as Howdie tended to
trip easily.  I should think the longer the toe the more tripping.    Jean
