I stopped my SMJ subscription a few years ago....running out of space. I just sorted through those issues I kept and found plans for a "double sled" and a "work sled" (stone boat) sized for big drafts. I will check out the copies at the local library, but if you happen to know of an issue with plans for a regular bobsled, let me know which issue and I'll get a reprint. I started a smaller version of the "work sled" a couple years ago, never finished. I figured if I found good plans for a smaller type bobsled I could get a person here to build it! (maybe it would get finished then!) Seems to me there used to be ads in the SFJ selling "Bobsled runners!" Jean in Fairbanks, Alaska. still cold (-19) but could be a lot worse!
