Peg, you may already be aware of one of the dangers of hog fuel, but
just in case you're not, I feel compelled to share it with you anyway.

In Washington a trainer and his wife lost both their horses due to
juniper in their hog fuel.  Evidently it takes a minute amount to kill a
horse, and if I remember correctly there is no cure, only death.  They'd
just gotten a fresh load and gotten it spread out and turned their
horses out in the area.  It was a horrible tragedy for them both.  I can
get further details if you'd like.

I just had to share this with you, to please make certain your hog fuel
contains nothing toxic to horses.
