Yes.  You see, I gave this filly to "the offender" as a bribe to sell the 
quarter horses.  And with some coaching I was allowing "the offender" the 
opportunity to bring up his own baby.  Till "the offender" had to go out of 
town and I started handling her.  Whoa!!!!  That was when we had our talk!  
"The offender" who will STILL remain nameless now doesn't have free rein with 
his horse.  I've taken over much of the ground training and explained how we 
do NOT implicitly let the horse think it is cute when it mouths leather 
jackets.  Especially when I've got a special child around.  I got through.  
Loud and clear.  To be fair, he never really CONSCIOUSLY encouraged the 
filly.  Just would say "oh, you think my jacket is tack" in a loving tone of 
voice, instead of a harsh "QUIT" and maybe a little jerk of a lead rope.  He 
knows better now.  I know better now, that he needs a little supervision when 
working with his filly.  She's going to be exquisite.  Heck, she's exquisite 
now.  And has a very sweet, smart nature.
