One of them was green broke. I started riding her right away. I was eager to ride the gelding but with the advice of my husband and knowing slower is better, I lunged Odin a lot so he will walk, trot, canter and halt on voice commands. With my husband standing by outside the lunging ring today, I got on Odin with my helmet on and walked around with no problems and called it a good day. I'm looking forward to around 20 years of good riding, so patience does pay off.
