I read in our local paper yesterday that the virus can be carried in human nostrils for 3-5 days. Is this correct????? Scarry thought. We have planned a trip to Scotland for the end of May. Nonrefundable cottage rentals and plane fares already payed for. We also have SHEEP and we don't know if it will be safe to go, I'd rather forfit the $ than bring home H&M to our flock. Not to mention all the dairy farmers in the area that would string us up!!! ;) On a Fjord note, we finally melted enough to get out and ride the last week. The boys have been taking lessons all winter at a stable with an indoor arena and when they saw Osa and Geilo tacked up decided I must have ment for them to ride. This sharing of horses will get old I think! Interesting thing is that the ponies they are riding for their lessons are Fjord X Welch. They are great little ponies and don't look much like Fjords, just stocky, and very full manes and tails. Very nice ponies, very well behaved and the larger of the two is a great jumper. Jane Maine, where we had another 4" of slush yesterday but the west of Me. got up to 18" of new snow!!! Will spring ever come?
