"...A "doll-baby" head is a term used to describe a broad forehead, large
eyes and distance (short) from eyes to nostrils. I don't know where I picked
the term up horsepeople - long time ago. Picture the Gerber baby."

OK folks...I have always heard this in the context of Quarter Horse 'speak'
for a "cute" (little) head. All well and good, as long as you are not
looking at just the head as an end in itself, and begin to ignore the WHOLE
picture; this is a horse darn it, NOT a Gerber baby ;^/
I have a very nice mare who has the above described type of head..the arab
people go nuts when they see her, and I agree she's darned cute, but let's
not forget the whole horse... They wanted to take her home as a weanling
based on the head alone. No thanks!
...A pretty head does not make a horse, nor does color, height, stripes,
etc.
Sorry for my little rant here...
