I think the coarseness has somethingn to do with it's being so tangle free. It also has a bit of an oily feel, but it is not greasy! When brushed out, it is very full looking. I do have to trim the ends of it fairly often. I prefer to bang it. His tail is a pretty as my Morgan with almost no work.
My Morgan has a ropy tail. Even without burrs, it can take quite a while to unrope it's several pieces and then comb out. Comnine burrs in it and you have a major grooming session! It is really beautiful when flowing free. Cynthia Madden email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
