I also have a 15 year old mare well broke to drive but not to ride, a wonderful brood mare who has given us many fabulous foals. She is by Rusten and 13.2 hands. Who said something about making money off of horses. Is that possible? I don't think it is. I have had some wonderful years with my Fjords but I want to pare all the way down to two mares and Jovan--my big buddy. And my husbands two geldings. I have had some problems with poor health and am just a little too tired to keep on breeding on a regular basis. I will have three yearlings ready this spring--a filly out of Megan (by Rusten) and two gelding foal out of Christina (by Rusten) and Aubrey (by Rudaren) These mares were all raised on Quad L's farm. The foals are all by Woodland's Jovan--Dustin's full brother. Shota Fjords is located in Eastern Oregon (Cove) about 50 miles from Pendleton.
