These 2 geldings live in Rhode Island and my daughter has been cleaning
their stalls a couple of times a week for 8 months now. They are being
sold and she is hopeful they will be going to kind, knowledgeable people,
thus the ad for this list. The owner's ad reads:
Norwegian Fjord geldings - 13 and 15 years old, used for lessons
and trail riding. $5,000 each, negotiable if sold together. 401-295-5384,
ask for Faith 6:30-9:30pm.
Faith is their trainer. I can add that I rode Stav last November
through the neighborhood and to a beach where we forded to an island with
never a misstep. They obviously enjoy trails. They are being sold, as far
as I have heard, because the owner does not have enough time to ride
them. Jazz, the other one, is a little more jumpy but nothing much. I
believe they have had driving training too, but best to talk to Faith.
