This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yes, Norway was bombed and where our family summerhome is back in Norway, there are still ruins from the war. We went to Rjukan a couple of years ago to see the "plant" where the heavy water was made and it was very interesting. We had a couple with us from the US who wanted to see the place, and they were impressed how the Norwegians could maneuver in such steep terrain and how they were able to destroy the boat carrying the heavy water. But of course, many innocent Norwegians lost their lives in that incident. But talking about steep terrain, - that is where the Norwegians have great experience, as do the Norwegian Fjordhorses. They do excellent in that type of terrain and they are known to be great packhorses in such terrain. We used ours several times up in the mountains for just that purpose.
