However I still chuckle when Americans consider Fjords "expensive." According to my research, they are one of the lowest-priced pure breeds. Like Friesians? $20K and up. $10K for a weanling. Standardbreds? $20K for a youngster, $80K for one with training. Thoroughbreds? In the millions for racers. Etcetera...
