Its really tough him being gone, don't know if its worse that he's where he is or that I know it could be six months to a year before I see him again. Both of my kids are in school in Texas, my daughter will be home the middle of May so till then I'm on my own, except for the horses and cats. I'm still looking for a watchdog/pet, I'd considered a german shepard but someones talked with me about Dobies too so I'm kind of looking. I'd had the aussie that just wouldn't leave my cats alone and he was not a watch dog by any means, he's with my postal lady and five boys and in doggie heaven. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, each day gets easier and some days are worse than others.
