It can be confusing! NFHR is the only ACTIVE group at this time. The other groups are not active at this time. Chances are if you have a Fjord horse that is registered with one of the other groups that NFHR can be able to work with you in registering it NFHR. There are rare occasions when we may not be able to register. Mike May would be able to tell you. When looking at a Fjord before you purchase it please contact Mike May if you question the paperwork on the horse. One lady was trying to sell me a Fjord with papers that she made up. She did not know I knew what Fjord registration papers looked like. This horse was also not a true Fjord, but she was trying to sell him as one. So it is buyer be aware.
