Whoa Jean, hate those shakers and rollers. We have them here but not as
frequently. Last one occurred after I had been to the Docs office and told
my blood pressure was over two hundred. I had just come home and slumped
into my chair when the 6 plus hit! It was a scramble to get out of the
house and I bet the bp was three hundred.

Not being a breeder nor expert about Fjords it leaves me to conjecture.
Since these lovelies were bred or evolved to survive droughts and to be used
as small draft animals they would have swiftly disappeared after the drought
and only a small amount would have survived for draft work. As we evolve
certain breeds disappear as they do not fit in any more. So since we need
horses for dressage, jumping, shows etc would the fjord have been left to
disappear or is the fact that we are now breeding a sport type fjord and
jumper etc keeping a place for our beauties? Giving them a certain future?
And isn't this then why we see a need for other than the draft type? And who
then determines what "type" is correct???? Jean
