Laura, Jean: Thank you for tip on Greenhawk in Canada. I called them. They do sell them and can ship to California, but are waiting or delivery and they don't have them in stock... Karen McK & Laurie, (http://WWW.TACK-UP.COM/) Called them, the owner was out of town but got some info. They are getting them directly from Thorowgood instead of going through Miller's. Unfortunately they don't have any in stock either, and the delivery takes a while. Got another tip for a State Line tack store in Sacramento.. tried that, no luck. Robyn: Emailed Thorowgood (calling is tricky because of time difference), no reply yet. THANK YOU for your offer to lend me your saddle! That is extremely generous. Are you serious? I'll email you directly. Searched local (expensive) tack store this weekend for any new or used extra-wide saddles. And they don't have ANY. Not even "regular" wide. I am sure there are lots of QHs around here running around with far too narrow saddles. I found ONE that was pretty wide, of course it was a pony saddle with a 14" seat .. Thanks all! Dagrun
