Hi folks, Just a little brag here. Saturday, we entered 4 of our girls in the Boeing Equestrian Saddle Club show. I believe that 95%, or more, of the people had never seen a Fjord before. One person asked if they were a cross between a mule and a zebra......honest.... Couldn't have been too smart if they didn't know a mule was sterile. Anyway, our girls showed them what Fjords could do and walked away with four ribbons, two in Western and two in English. The spectators, other entrants, and the judges were fascinated with them. I overheard remarks like "powerful" "strong" and "determined". Our "kids" showed up some of the fancy riders and horses. We were sooooo proud of our girls. Brag over..... It was excellent exposure for the Fjord breed. Interest in the Fjords was excellent. Darn good advertising for the Fjord Horse, and an excellent trial run before Libby.
