How horrible Pam........my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your
stepsisters boyfriend family...........


At my barn I am the only one who wears a helmet at all times.  I am at an
eventing barn.   When they (riders) jump they do wear one, but not on hacks
or flat work.   I am the only one with a fjord and I could care less what I
look like!   I used to NEVER wear one when I had my welsh mare, but when I
got my Quarter horse gelding who was three (I no longer have him) you can
bet I wore one!   and thank goodness I did, cause once when mounting up I
was swinging my leg over and he moved forward and over the other side I
went.....my head landed on the asphalt and my body on the dirt......
