I have a lovely mare for sale but would never advertise her as a kid's horse. 
 Yes, she has all the bells and whistles that the Fjord breed is noted for,  
But she has opinions, too, and it's doubtful that a child could out-argue 
her.  She isn't dangerous and wouldn't hurt a child but she could be 
frustrating especially in the spring when all the grass is tender and sweet.  

BTW, if anyone is looking for a mature mare out of Anvil Acres breeding, I 
have her.  She's trained to drive, has excellent ground manners and really 
needs someone who can give her the time and love that she deserves.  Due to 
work demands, I have to reduce my "herd" of two to only one.
