Hestehaven - The Horse Garden will be hosting several Fjord Forums and Clinics in 2003. We have the following to announce at this time. We are planning to host a NFHR Evaluation in August 2003. The Fjord Forums are designed to give each Fjord owner the best opportunity to practice at the facility and to learn the patterns prior to the Evaluation. Feb 2003 - Introduction to NFHR Evaluations and Demonstration of patterns used at the Evaluations. This will be classroom and arena demonstrations. April 4,5,6, 2003 - Riding and Showing your horse in Hand to the best of your ability A combination of classroom and hands on. Private lessons will be available with the clinician. May 23,24,25, 2003 - Driving and Draft Presentation by Brian and Ursula Jensen from BC. Brian and Ursula will be offering a classroom presentation and then private 1 hour lessons with your Fjord in any of the Draft and Driving tests that are used for the NFHR Evaluation. This will be a chance to practice and learn what is needed to complete the patterns with the best score possible. (Friday Night will be a wine and cheese drive in the country with weather permitting.) Space and time is limited. Please book your reservations for these Forums early for the best selection of lesson times and housing. Three rooms are available in the main house and then there will be hotel rooms available at the Casino 13 miles away. Horse boarding will be available for those that want to bring their Fjord.
