No, it's not the time to require microchips. It would only be an unnecesary expense in many cases (eg geldings) because of DNA testing and if there is already a rule for evaluations... why change it? I can see where microchipping has been more important in Canada because it hasn't been that long since they started DNA. (or so I think). Ruthie
