Merhaba from Turkey!  Years ago when I was in Mexico and had a very
energetic Morgan mare, I was going to ride to the feed store one day to
order hay.  It was very hot.  Every so often Felicity stopped, turned
around and gave me a dirty look that became more and more dirty each time
she stopped.  Finally, when we were about halfway there, she turned
around, gave me a look that said, It´s too hot to ride.  Maybe you´re too
stupid to figure this out, but I´m not.  I´m going home.  She turned
around and headed for home.  Nothing I did could persuade her to do
otherwise. I learned not to even try riding her when it was too hot! I
hope Mr. Wilson continues to make good progress.  It sounds like he was
very fortunate. Camptown Dave, your wagon train sounds like the trek of a
lifetime.  What an experience. Kate (Joe´s mommy), you sound like my kind
of horse person.  Years ago when I was in the Navy, this civilian in our
office asked who would I choose, Richard, my husband, or Bently, our
Morgan stallion.  I was mad at Richard that day so I told her I would get
rid of Richard and keep Bently! I saw someone with a camel all tacked up
on the beach the other day.  He gives camel rides to tourists.  One day I
will get up my nerve and take a ride. Linda in Alanya right on the
Mediterranean coast - hot here too
