Just thought I'd share my last show report with you all. Of Course, since I don't have Silas, you probably don't want to hear that my TB and myself took home high point jumper last Sunday but....WE DID!! I do miss Silas, but Rhett is filling his shoes very nicely. Just to make it Fjordy, I also brought Lida Mir, (MIRA X GJEST) 5 yr old mare to the show, as one of my boarders has been workign with her over fences. This was her first show and she was VERY good with the fences, could not get her totally focused between them, but great goign over. For the first show we were very happy with her. The judge commented how much she liked that Fjord if only she could lose the attitude. Lida is young and well, at times kind of just wants to do her own thing. She is a SUPER brave mare, VERY bold and we know she has tons of talent and ability and one day it will all come together. THEN WATCH OUT! Also a BIG congratulations to Don and Jamie Dinesen on their purchase of Los Trigos Clementine. 14 yr old mare that I had on consignment. LOVELY mare, oh what a wonderful horse they got, VERY NICE. They could not have bought a better first Fjord! Clem will be going to MN end of June. They are not too far from Blue Earth, we might beable to see her there in the near future, hopefully, hint hint. "Think" I wrote about Sheri Seggerman and her purchase of Anna Lisa. If not, another Congrats goes out to her. Sherri is also a first time fjord owner and bought Anna Lisa off my farm. Sheri is a professional photographer and co authored the book, 1001 reasons to love horses. EXCELLENT book, really neat and GREAT pictures that Sheri took. She gave me a copy, fringe benefits when you sell horses!! hehee She said she now has 1002 reasons to love horses, FJORDS. Have several buyers looking for WELL trained, been there done that type Fjords, suitable for beginner riders/families.
