This message is from: "Gail Russell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> This is outrageous. What on earth is the matter here with the current owners of this horse.
These are too good bloodlines to let go like this! Did you buy him in the state of California? There has to be a legal way to force the sale of livestock that you have paid for. It is a slightly complicated legal procedure, but there must be a way to do it....sort of the way you can get a boarder's lien. It sounds to me like someone said they had the power to sell you the horse, when they did not own the entire horse. In fact....if nothing else, you have been caring for this horse for some time. I wonder if you have some kind of implied boarding lien. I helped my neighbor sue on a QH, and she was able to get the papers via the court proceeding. Not all that hard to do if you spend a little time in a law library. Dark brown with lots of stripes. He is registered with NFHR but you won't get the papers. Reason for selling, I bought him 8 months ago and I can't get the paperwork resolved. There seems to be a dispute between two co-owners and now the one that sold him to me doesn't want to correspond with me anymore. Neither owner wants the horse back. I won't guarantee you can handle him, either. I've been told he is hard to handle, but my 10 yr old son can bring him in from the pasture. I have hand bred him to one of my mares and he handled great for me. I haven't checked if she is pregnant, so I won't guarantee he is fertile. He bred three mares last summer, before I bought him, that didn't settle. But without papers it doesn't really matter if he is fertile. He does have 10 registered offspring. Asking price: $9999.00 with no guarantees other than a living, breathing horse. Joe Glick Glick Family Farm [EMAIL PROTECTED]
