I thought I would add a good fjord report to Carole's this morning. My calf roper veterinarian was just out doing vaccinations. He told me of a client of his out in Nebraska ranch country who bought a fjord for his daughter to ride. He said it was one of the best ranch horses he had ever ridden. The man was bragging about his ranching fjord in a group of people that had never even heard of a fjord. You could tell our vet was feeling a little smug when he said "Why I take care of a whole herd of them!!!" Janice in Nebraska
