Freja- 7 yr old mare out of Fair Acres Gunnar and Rinda (her registration is
in process)
Freja has been trained in dressage from the age of 4 and has been
shown locally at schooling and recognized dressage shows for the past 3
years. She is completely quite and has never been fazed by anything. She
enjoys arena work and trail riding, and can handle any situation with ease.
She has the renowned fjord disposition and works well with children and
beginning riders. Freja has all the basic training and has a steady tempo
walk, trot and canter. Her walk is free swinging and trot is steady and
rhythmic. Her canter is well developed, and balanced. She is sensitive to
the aids and has several months of professional dressage training as well as
steady home training through the last several years. She has been shown out
of Intro levels and is steady through Training 4. She is intelligent, quiet
and very people friendly. Freja trailers, lunges, clips and ground ties with
no problem. When she was 2, I had professional help in her ground training
and beginning riding.
On a personal note, Freja was my first fjord love. When I was 9, she
was born on our farm and we have been working together from day 1. With the
addition of new fjords and foals to our farm, I do not have the time to give
her the attention she deserves and hope to find a home where someone wants
to learn about fjords and dressage. A child, beginning adult or someone
looking for a fjord partner would be ideal.
