This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is a reminder that the Virginia Fjord Festival will be held at Ironwood Farm on Sunday, September 10, from 1 - 5 p.m. This is the second time we are holding the festival. It is a combination sales event, demonstration, and open house. Fjord breeders and owners with sales horses are invited to list them in the sales catalog and bring the to the farm for that afternoon. At this point, there is no charge to bring a horse, but if demand necessitates that we need to rent some portable stalls, there will be a nominal fee.
If you are in Virginia or Maryland, this might be a good venue for you. Last year two horses sold directly as a result the Festival. However, I am happy to take flyers from any Fjord breeder or owner who wishes to send them to me. We have a booth up with NFHR materials and I will display any flyers I receive. Many of the horses at the festival are young stock, so if you have an older Fjord for sale, this is a marketing opportunity. The demo portion features riding, driving and in-hand demos. Every horse at the Festival has an opportunity to demo. Everyone is welcome to attend. Last year we had over 100 people attend on one of the hottest days of the summer.
