Well, I just checked the pedigree of every white dun we currently have
on the property, and every one has Ola Gik in its background.

congratulations on your astuteness.
I notice that both brown dun parents of our red dun colt, Red Ryder, have
Ola Gik waaaaaaaaaay back in their pedigrees. (PS Sommer + Quildemann).
We were so mystified (dumbfounded) by their red colored offspring that we
did a DNA on him.. as we also have a red stallion. Very funny.
