This message is from: "Pat Holland" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Hi Everyone- this is long, grab a cup of coffee or a bottle of
wine................but good reading:
Well the line up for the Thursday (October 11th) evening "Stallion Review"
at the 25th Anniversary Celebration is pretty much done and I must say it
will be a night to see.
I know that this many stallions have NEVER be represented in one place in
NFHR history. And what a group that is coming.
1) Prydarson Pat Wolfe's - highest scored stallion in the NFHR system
Gold Medallion
2) Thorvald Green Valley Farm's 2nd highest scored stallion in NFHR
system Gold Medallion
3) Erland 3rd highest scored stallion of Peg Knutson's - Gold Medallion
which hopefully at this point he is still coming depending
on health. (Cross your fingers).
4) Fair Acre's Ole - Patti Jo Walter's great disposition Steinfinn son,
Gold Medallion - the one Wayne Hipsley went on and on about for two years
regarding how we can't loose his "type".
5) Wags O' Thorson - Gold Medallion owned by Heika Lewandowski - Heika
will give a presentation to remember!
6) Valea's Lee - the great old stallion owned by Kit Davis - also a Gold
Medallion - please keep in mind when you see this great old stallion he is
the base of the "Rokida" prefix and Kit and Ron devoted their lives to
this linage. With Ron gone now and Kit there alone it
will be a good time to honor what they did for this breed.
7) Hostar - well you know what I'm about to say about HIM. They called him
"The Legend" - and even at the age of 19 he is one heck of a horse. Owned
by Melinda Springs - recently Grand Champion/ still winning at draft and
driving and riding.
8) BNF Ingwine - Owned by Cheryl and Steve Gioia - Reserve Champion at
BE, a beautiful white dun youngster that deserves a good look over by
everyone. Beautifully trained by his owners.
9) Felix - Owned by Susan Cargill - one of the "Quad" of great stallions
Pat Wolfe imported - beautiful in his own right- with some of the nicest
offspring in North America, up and coming and showing his great mind and
movement. .
10) Karolina King - Owned by Penny Stuckey - this will be his premier,
by the deceased Kanada King, I've seen pictures and he is really something
VERY special.
11) Smedsmo Graen - Owned by Phil and Else Odden - EVERYONE seems to
breeding to this wonderful disposition grey stallion with unreal movement.
Knowing Phil he will put on a great presentation.
12) Kastengardens's Fernando - Owned by Green Valley Farm - 2 years #1
stallion in Denmark - Grand Champion at Blue Earth.
13) GVF Sjokolade Also owned by Green Valley - a 2 yr old son of
Kastengardens - and out of the big chocolate mare currently 2nd in the
nation in conformation and a Medallion mare, what a combination.
14) GVF Rolf - Again, owned by Green Valley another 2 yr old son of
Kastengardens out of a steady sweet Medallion mare.
15) Rams Lindemann Owned by Neil and Ruth Sorum, Gold Medallion and steady
dressage competitor.

Lindemann
17) PCF Vidar - Owned by Neil & Ruth Sorum son of Kastengarden's Fernando

Starfire Farm and participated with the "Dancing With Fjords" at National
Western.
20) Ironwood Blitzen - Another Gjest son - owned by Tom Snyder and
Margaret Bogie
21) Plain Dealing's Tomten - Owned by Linda Wachtmeister son of Green
Valley's Thorvald
22) Bayshore Simon - another white stallion which is Owned by J Frank
Bayless & Curtis Pierce, unique and beautiful.
23) OH Wynn - The only red dun stallion shown, owned by Marsha Korose and
Curtis Pierce, upstanding and refined with great presence.
24) LFF Ulend - grey son of Erland, Medallion horse, owned by Marsha and

With Fjords" and working towards FEI level dressage
28) Karibu - In absentia owned by Guy and Martha Martin - the great old
sire of many, many beautiful offspring.
29) MVF Karival - by Karibu owned by Phil Prichard, a full brother to the
recently deceased mare MVF Kariya, Grand Champion and great performance
mare - I personally am very anxious to see this fellow.
29) Jaxon - owned by Kathy Kramer, (coming all the way from California) a
grey son of Smedsmo Graen - I heard he's beautiful!
30) Solen - also owned by Kathy Kramer, a son of Flotren and he is the
only YELLOW dun stallion I know of. Can't wait to see him!
31) Fair Acre's Sven - In absentia owned by Tyler and Dawn Schlickman,
another gentle offspring of Anvil's Steinfinn with that true Fjord mind.
32) Leidjo - Owned by Orville and Anita Unrau, in absentia - presented
with offspring with Lisa and Jeff Pedersen - the GREAT Leidjo.
33) Gjest - Owned by Arthur and Carol Rivoire's Beaver Dam Farm II - in
absentia, but will be presented with a mass of offspring that his
presentation is listed last. A great time to honor one of the most
influential sires of our time.
This is just a quick preview of what is coming. Each owner is preparing
an individual 5 min. presentation to music for all of us to see and
showcase their horses and offspring. This is a lineup that will never
happen again in NFHR history. This is a once in a lifetime event.
Pat Wolfe and I have been working hard to make this happen and with the
help and support of a very good group of people, Rich and Nancy Hotovy,
Mike and Susie Sadlon, Tyler and Dawn Schlickman and Gary Holland - who
will be guides and traffic control that night - we are ready to offer you
all a very special night to
remember....................................then you will find me with a
big bottle of wine - celebrating that "its over!!!!"............
As usual, with humor and grit
Pat Holland
