>From a non-showing but Fjord loving person, the show at Libby was great. The
temperatures were a little high but not that uncomfortable. The beauty of the
area is such a great backdrop for Fjords. They go there like butter and jam.
We didn't make it to Nordicfest as we kept busy at the show.

We met some new wonderful people, Dick and Melinda Springs, Steve and Sherril
Goya and others. I wanted to make aquaintance with Dagrun but didn't make it
over there. We got to help Jeff and Lisa Pedersen with a little of the
grooming and getting harnesses changed. I was priviledged (sp) to groom for
Jeff with a couple of his classes. What a blast. I am so impressed with the
composure of his team. Sunn, who is very green at this driving stuff was a
brick. She did whatever was asked of her without any attitude. What a
delightful mare. I have always been impressed with Juli and Hans and
especially Kaiser. I am impressed that Lisa and Jeff are donating him to a
theraputic riding center in Idaho. I am sure that this was pretty hard on the
both of them but what an assest he will be to this cause.

The classes at Libby were well run. I especially liked the idea of bringing
them in at one gate and taking them out of another. The costume class was
great on both junior and senior part. Amy Evers and Catherine Lassesen (sp)
were up to there usual funny selves.

Thanks to the committee for a good job done.
