Well, this mare doesn't slobber more because of food. I'm pretty sure it's
when she is stressed. Which moving her to my barn has stressed her because she
does it pretty much non stop. The only time she does not slobber so far, is in
the barn, when grooming her.  It is a rather gross thing, but thank you for
writing that  GREAT line  can't cure, just endure. That is pretty much what
i'm thinking. I guess just wanted to know if others were out there, you know
misery loves company! :-)  She is a very sweet mare, nice looking and lots of
very good qualities about her. I've just never seen or heard of a horse doing
this before, but it is nice to know that others have dealt with it.

I believe, in her case, it's very much in line with cribbing. She has
developed a habit that gives her comfort in some strange way.
