Hi all, First of all i would like to wish you all a late but very FJORDY new year. I have been lurking most of the time but yesterday I had an expierence with my Fjordmare Linde I would like to share. Before my 2 kids were born my horses were my life. I used to have 3 Fjords and one Shetlandpony but unfortunately we had to give up on one of my Fjordmares Kely. As I'm a full time working mother and I have to share my free time under my family and my pets my horses have been on hotel for quite a while. I used to drive an ride them alot but when I was pregnant I stopped riding. Until yesterday evening. It has been over 3 years I rode Linde. But I have to say she is a very wel behaving very calm Fjord. I took her to the riding school were I go and rode her. I must say I was very nerveous. We arrived there and when I prepared her she stood so calm and looked at me with her warm eyes like she was saying FINALLY. I trust that horse more then anything else in the world. We rode with 2 horses that she never saw before and ................. It was like it was yesterday I rode her the last time.It was so nice that I can't find the words to express how happy I am. The lady from the riding school aloud me to come and ride in the lesson but she said before we started that when Linde would be too spooky I had to stop at once. After the lesson she said: I never saw that before: a horse who hasn't been working for such a long time that was sooooooooo calm and nice. But yes after all she is a Fjord..... and the Lady asked me if I ever considerd selling here she was the first to buy her. There's no hair on my haid who thinks about that of course. Now i'm only hoping my kids wil catch the horse microbe because I do have a Fjord I do know I can trust. And I do a lot Sorry for my bad english but I did want to share this with you guys. A lot of greetings from a very warm Belgium for this time of the year. We did'nt have frost yet. Griet The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw
