This message is from: "Beth Pulsifer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> From: Beth Pulsifer -------Original Message------- .>Except probably Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Pekingese, and the like would be stretching the farm dog category.)< Hi Steve, We have three Poms and they came from a farm where they were raised to run and play in the barn as well as the house. They get along just fine with our horses and would be out in the barn all the time if we allowed it.. I tend to be over protective because they are small .... however , they don't know they are small!!! :) Again I think it's all in the way they are raised and trained. They are great with kids and other dogs too....I don't think I'd call them herding dogs though!:) .I had always thought of Poms as pampered prissy little things until I met the breeder where ours came from and got to know her dogs. Just had to put in a plug for our Pomeranians!!!!:) I do love the corgis... I've never had one but from what I have seen they are great little dogs. Beth in Maine where spring has sprung and Liz( fjord) is waiting for my dislocated shoulder to mend so we can get back to work/play again. Goal is to be hitched in the cart and driving this summer.Never too old to learn new things!
