Yes, I like watching The Dog Whisperer shows too. I found early on, that
when I first started taking horse riding lessons about 4 or 5 years ago,
interacting with the horses helped me to evolve a better relationship with
my dog, based on better communication. Now that I am much more experienced
with horses, including Natural Horsemanship techniques, I am much more
skilled at incorporating a new puppy into my family. Now I am also getting
more adept at subtle communication with my fjord, after having developed the
close bonds with the new puppy and my older dog. My life with the animals
just keeps re-inforcing and enhancing my relationship skills with the other
animals.....and hopefully with people too! LOL

I thought this a very interesting comment. I love to watch "The Dog
Whisperer" on the National Geographic Channel. Cesar teaches people to be
calm assertive so as to teach dogs to be calm submissive. I have found by
following his methods of being a better assertive leader it has helped me
alot with my fjords.
