Tomas went to his first jumping show today and came home with a 1st and
2-seconds!! :-) I purchased Tomas from the Gudknechts in April I believe. He
was only ever a driving horse but needed a new career change, he found his
passion in jumping! With only 2 months under saddle and not even that much
time learning to jump, the boy is a natural. HE is BOLD and BRAVE over jumps,
NEVER EVER looking or refusing or questioning just point me and let me go. Ok,
he does sometimes like to go toooo much and stopping is an issue, but for the
most part he's wonderful. Eby Higdon who works here at FCF has done all the
work with Tomas. I told her as long as she is here, she can consider him hers.
She just loves working with Fjords and especially Tomas as she too loves to
jump. Very proud of the two of them. I'll try and get pictures up on the
website this week.

I know no one cares about my TB, but we did come home with high point, second
year in a row. :-) Rhett Butler is my TB and he's totally amazing, like
riding a race car. The boy can turn on a dime and jump jump jump, very
manageable and controllable. Sorry, just had to throw my accomplishment out
there.

Thinking of jumping your fjord???? DO IT, OMG they are a blast to jump with
and if you have a good Fjord, you should have steady and nice gaits which DO
GET NOTICED by the judge! AND most Fjords have really nice form over fences.
