First of all I am not seeing any bids of the fjord figurine on Ebay, come on you fjord collectors out there you don't need to feed this one and it is for such a good cause. I am currently the high bidder and would really like to see the bids go higher to help with the cost of surgery for this young fjord. So peoples take a look and give me some competition. On a more serious note about 3 years ago I purchased a pregnant PMU fjord from a ranch in Canada after she foaled I found a home for her with a friend Kathleen. Kathleen adores this mare and rides her most days and this year has started showing her. Kathleen is in the hospital is critical condition with bubonic plague. I work a the Pastoral Care Minister for an Episcopal church and can get into areas of hospitals that many can't: I was able to visit Kathleen today, there are pictures of her fjord all over the walls in her room in the ICU I often see death and injuries as part of my job, but when it is a friend it is really hard. Most will never see what bubonic plague does to the body and it is not pretty. So please keep you pets free from fleas, the plague comes from fleas from rodents.
