WOW! I have not even begun to read the posts. over 75 in my inbox from the
time we left for Libby and came back. I will have to take a day plus to read
all of them. :-)

Rune, Blaamann, the puppies and I are BACCCCCK from Libby. A BIG THANK YOU
to everyone that made it a very fun very relaxed and full of friendship
show. There are many people to thank! You all know who you are!

We had good luck but bad luck.

Our 300,000 mile dually dodge truck decided it needed a rest when we arrived
at Spokane and it died at the footsteps of the Spokane Sport Horse Facility,
where Blaamann and the puppies were going to spend the night. That was our
BAD LUCK. The GOOD LUCK was that it died at a facility where we had already
put our stallion to bed. The facility manager, Mike lent us his truck to get
to the motel and around town. AAA was at the facility to pick up our dead
truck within 5 minutes of us calling. they were extremely good to us. The
place that fixed the truck was OPEN at 9 PM at night and we were able to
turn in keys and give instructions. . Good Luck continued as we were able to
RENT a truck that we were allowed to haul a trailer with the next
morning.(DOLLAR RENTAL) and so we were only 3-4 hours off schedule. Bad
luck was that we had room for only one cart. (We took two and left one
behind in Spokane.) Other than that. we were on our way.

As far as the show. My gosh, what a great group of Fjord people. We had fun.
Blaamann had 4 other people ride, drive and have fun with him. Mandy King,
Barbara Neufeld, Kris Nelson and Dan Watanabe, thank you for playing with
us! The fun thing about Blaamann, is that he behaves and knows his lessons,
that we were very confident to lend him out and share him. He did give
Barbara a buck in the English pleasure class. (sorry Barbara) (For you that
do not know, Blaamann is a 10 year old stallion)

Blaamann did his fair share of bringing home the ribbons. He even behaved
for me in the Old Ladies Class and allowed me to show for the first time
under saddle since my neck and back injuries. This was a walk trot only
class but it was a very important class for me. since nerves were on edge.
it was like going into the arena for the first time. My fellow Jill Benny's
were very supportive. Thanks! We were rewarded with a Blue Ribbon.

WARNING BRAG ALERT:

Rune, Blaamann and I went in the parade. We won the Grand Championship of
the parade this year with the theme. Reindeer Round Up. Rune went as a
cowboy Santa, Blaamann was Rudolf and I went as an Elf. This is the 4th
year that we have taken home the check and the ribbon for the Libby Parade.

Ok enough said. Libby as normal was FUN, FUN, FUN and it was great to have
the chance to be social with all our Fjord friends. we even meet new ones.

PS the puppies are fine they made the trip with out any bother. and we
received news that we will have one available for sale. Contact me directly
if you are interested.
