This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I heard a little rumor that my friend Debbie Ulrich and her lovely mare Norona won the Novice Horse/Pony CHampionship at the Villa Louis Carriage Classic driving show last weekend with the help of her friend Michael Scott. Congratulations Debbie! I believe there were 3 firsts, 2 thirds, and a fifth place in there to add up to the Championship...although I believe one of the firsts was for the "coveted" Carriage Dog class, in which Debbie had the bravery to take not one, not two, but THREE of her adorable Corgis in the cart with her! And to top it all off she had to grit her teeth through the whole thing since she has some injured ribs!
I'm certain there were other Fjords at Villa...the results just weren't posted at the time I wrote this, so my apologies to those others who were no doubt there! Wish I could have been there...but will make every effort to make it next year!!! COngrats again...it's always a wonderful feat when the Fjords do well against the "fancier" carriage horses (though I have a soft spot for Nora anyway) :-) Tiffany Amschl...who is FINALLY driving her own Fjord thanks to Patti Jo and some seasonably wonderful weather.
