Meridith, We had a 140 mph Dec 4th. Luckily I had had most of my trees topped, Only two untopped Hemlocks snapped off across my fences. My fences are graduated metal wire and I run electric wire on top. One cedar branch did land across my neighbors Rhodie.

Don't you qualify for Federal assist.? I did but preferred to pay as it was minimal. Being a former lumber area we have grinders and bulldozers for the thousands of trees that came down. Unfortunately no lumber market or very little.

It certainly was the most scary storm I have been through in my soon 83 years. Gunnar just asked me why I was upset and went on grazing. Jean Gayle
