Remmy Bron, a resident of the Netherlands, is scheduled to judge the 25th 
Anniversary Norwegian Fjord Horse Show, presented by the Northeast Fjord Horse 
Association, at the Berkshire Equestrian Center in Richmond, Mass. on the 
weekend of August 8-10, 2008. Remmy’s early riding instruction came from a 
German trainer and one from the Spanish Riding School of Vienna – her own style 
is a combination of their methods. Remmy has trained many Fjord horses and won 
the Dutch Fjord Championship with her mare, Wianda. She is currently competing 
with another mare in combined driving as an ambassador for KIKA, a fund-raising 
organization for children’s cancer research. Remmy is certified to judge all 
levels of dressage and driving. She is also a certified riding and driving 
instructor with over 34 years of experience. The American Fjord horse community 
is thrilled to have a judge of her stature for this important event.

  
On  Friday afternoon, August 8, the 25th Anniversary Breed Show will begin with 
trail classes, games, and a complementary cookout at the Berkshire Equestrian 
Center (BEC) in Richmond, Mass. The BEC rests on 27 acres, surrounded by some 
of the loveliest views in Berkshire County, Western Mass. BEC is a full-service 
equine facility with spacious paddocks, a 150 x 250 outdoor ring and an 80 x 
200 indoor arena, both with state-of-the-art footing. Adjacent to the BEC is 
the Inn at Richmond, a colonial-era country inn featuring modern amenities

Ridden and in-hand classes will be held on Saturday, August 9th. The annual 
banquet is scheduled for Saturday night in nearby West Stockbridge at the 
popular Card Lake Inn. All draft and driven classes take place on Sunday.
