Hi Robin, O.H.Kruse manufacutres the 20 lb (5 gal bucket). I get it at the feed stores in Norco, CA. The bucket actually reads: Kruse's Perfection Brand - Natural Psyllium Fiber - in powdered form. It kinda looks like Metamucil. Re: mixing it with senior feed... that's just what the surgeons recommended because senior feed is a bit moist to begin with and with a drizzle of oil, the psyllium sticks to it pretty well. But they said any bagged feed was ok. It's ok to mix it with more than 1/2 cup if that helps your horse to eat it. They were adamaent that it cannot get wet with water, just oil, before it's eaten.
