She will arrive on the 20th of August and stay until after the holidays. Aurora participated in the Norwegian National Championships this year.
We hope to introduce her to as many Fjord farms as possible and to have her go to Libby, MT. for the show and evaluation. We cannot go to Libby this year due to a personal obligation made more than a year ago. (I am walking 60 miles in the Seattle, WA 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. - Donations are still being accepted.) If anyone that lives on the road to Seattle from Days Creek (I-5) that is going and wants a helping hand and has room to host Aurora, please email me privately. We can fix her up with a tent and camping gear. She is bringing English show clothes. just incase. :-) I was just thinking I can drop her off at your place on my way up to Seattle for the walk and then pick her up afterwards. . It is an idea. Any takers. email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] On the farm front. we still have three geldings for sale. 2 - two year olds and one 7 year old that has been there and done that. He rides and drives. Like everyone else. the price of having "extra" horses is getting ridiculous. We are not giving them away either. :-) This week we are in the 100 to 110F at the main house. The horses have the week off at pasture. We do not make them work in this type of heat. Rune and I will be hauling horses from MN to Nova Scotia and will be empty going East from Oregon to MN and Nova Scotia West to Oregon.
