Our temps dropped down to the mid-20's at night, mid-40's during the day, and I
am freaking out about my poor Joe with the "shaved" back.? Because I
am...well...the way I am... I actually decided to measure his coat last night
to compare it to the other horses who seem to be fine.? His "shaved" portion is
more than 1/2 an inch thicker than the average horse winter coat.? So, I have
calmed down - at least for today!!? The rest of him, and Miss Della, are so
warm and fuzzy that I follow them around the pasture wrapping myself around
them for warmth!!
