I understand vegetarians being appalled by animals being eaten, but quite
frankly, if you eat meat, what is the difference between a cow and a horse
for human consumption?  People around the globe have different tastes. Why
do they eat dogs & cats in parts of Asia (and yes, in America too)? It is a
food source that they have become accustom to. Mind you, I don't know if I
could ever eat horse meat - gosh, I can't even eat our chickens! - but this
is not something anyone should be surprised or shocked at. It's just a
difference of opinion/taste.
