I tried the Wintec close contact today and it seemed to fit her ok. I used
the extra wide gullet. The saddle was VERY comfy to me. I'm not crazy
about all that padding underneath the cantle, but that seems to be trendy on
saddles these days.
And it SQUEAKS. Granted I don't think this particular saddle has ever been
broken in, but I would hope that would go away...
I will look into the Thorowgood saddles as well. I guess I'm not in any
hurry. I will baby my Crosby and hope it stays intact. ;)

Do the Thorowgood saddles have a close contact or all purporse model? I
may have to look into those as well!
Yes the do - we have an all purpose and it's great on a couple of my
horses
- especially with the kids riding on it (15").
