Lisa......that would be me re the Gotland.  I have an aged mare that was
neglected for years/rescued and rehomed to me.    She is fat, sassy and
happy.......not used much, turned out with the others that are retired.  We
love her.  Very sweet tempermant, willing, and great size.  Not as much
"horse" as a fjord, finer boned.

IMO, the Gotland does not have the "presence" of a fjord.  Hard to beat that.
