Kathy, You might try Orange Sugar Free Metamucil or the cheaper version Equate from Walmart. 1/4 th cup twice per day mixed dry in his food and provide plenty of fresh water for drinking. The vet recommended this to us for sand removal (we have very sandy soil and give to all our fjords for the 1st 7 days each month) and to one that sometimes has a messy butt. I can tell you it works, they really love it, and he will have a messy orange mustache from what sticks on his face. Watch out for unsolicited pony kisses. But since it is sugar free it doesn't attract bugs either. So far no troubles. Willi does not like the Bio Sponge at all. Has anyone used a similiar product that may be more palatable? Thanks!
