I forgot to mention that this horse could have early Cushings and may need treatment for that. Especially with a winter founder and a horse that is not fat or cresty. Can you tell us how the diagnosis was arrived at, and whether or not there was an ACTH test for Cushings. (By the way, do not do the Dex suppression test on a foundered horse, or any horse, per the EC Cushings list protocol.)
