Happy New Year everyone. It is January and we are experiencing a big snowfall at the moment so some downtime is warranted. Wanted to let everyone know that our website is temporarily down but hope to have it up and running shortly. We may have to go for a change in URL ( .ca)temporarily but hope to get the .com back after we sort things out. Our domain provider shut down and we have our webhost look into things. Our blog however is working and I will use it for the time being to maintain contact with those interested. Yesterday Wanda and our German exchange student (also a Fjord owner from the Hamburg area) is here on weekends and vacations and I am always looking for ways to entertain and keep her occupied..we rigged a skijoring experience by using my regular harness and some straps...see it at www.trinityfjords.blogspot.com It really is a hoot and we had great fun. We used Raynor who of course is a very accomplished driving Fjord and at age 15 is now a very calm gelding. His transformation started in Nov with (s-u-r-g-e-r-y we still don't say the dreaded word with our outside voices) and after a few scary moments in recovery he is fine as a fiddle and certainly has changed his demeanor. I plan to enjoy him for back country jaunts riding and driving and have a relaxing spring when he can finally have the life of a horse in a pasture rather than a stud pen.
